Advetisements With Great Message
55Few months back I had written an hub on ads which made perfectly no sense and demeaned the product as well as its customers.
Today I am going to write about advertisement which has been great in giving messages which are not limited to product but
give a larger message. These ads are really wonderful , well made and right at top in my list of creative ads.
The advertisement which stands tall in this list is jaago re campaign of tata tea. Tata tea along with an ngo (Janaagraha) launched a campaign called 'jaago re' (wake up). Every clip from jaago re covers one specific issue. The first campaign was on creating awareness about voting . It showed young people assembled before a movie theater and two young man distributing
tea with slogan 'aare yeh bhi so raaye hain,chai pilao' (These people are also sleeping , give them tea). Punch line of the ad being that if on day of election if one is not voting , one is not awake.
The next ad took on the number one problem of India and that is corruption. There were two different ads which dealt with issue. Punch line 'woh khaate hain ,kyunki hum khilaate hain' said it all about corruption.
Another nice ad is of danik bhaskar. M S Dhoni is brand ambassador of the news group and features in ad which shows traffic jam and eve teasing in bus stop . Dhoni moves out of his car and stands beside the girl . The punch line of the ad is -'"zid karo –duniya badlo".
One of outstanding ads was from 'Lead India' initiative of times of India group . The ad shows a scenario where it is heavily raining and traffic has got jammed because a tree has fallen down. It also shows a car of politician who is being safely escorted by commandos from the scene while people are stuck up on the road. A kid tries to move the tree and later he is joined by people who together move the tree and clear up the road. It was great impact ful ad.
There are three different ads currently on air on various Indian channels. The ads are totally promoting a product but it does give larger message which are really impact ful and these ads do need a mention. First ad is of salman's dixky .Though ad is on inner wear the punch line 'zindagi mein jeeta woh nahi hai jo sabse tez maare , jeeta woh hai to ghirke phir khada ho jaaye' (In life the person it is not the person who hits most wins but person who stands up after falling down). The message is general , motivating and impact ful.
Another ad is of mutual fund which has punch line called 'Path of becoming rich is similar to life. It looks quiet easy but has many challenges. Key is foundation' ,though punch line is in Hindi. The ad is of L & T mutual fund.
Kitkat is name of chocolate which placed itself as eating while taking break thing. Continuing on the punch line -'Kitkat break banta hai' it has come up with interesting ad showing a squirrel couple singing Mr India's famous song 'kaate nahi kat te'. These squirrels are being viewed by man eating kitkat in garden while his friend is busy with laptop. The wonderful message which follows is what makes this ad really wonderful. In the busy life break can show different things. Though one might not see squirrels singing as shown but it does make impact and makes one think of taking time out of hectic schedule of life..
Advertisement is highly creative field and ads like this makes this field more interesting.Isn't it?.
