Quiet often heros and heroines of movies become real life lovers. While some end up getting married , while some aren't that lucky.

1) Raj Kapoor- Nargis :

Raj Kapoor is legend. The original showman of bollywood who gave some timless classics . Nargis was among first super stars of India. Raj-Nargis gave numbers of hits together. Their chemistry was matchless and their screen presence was captive.

Rumors of their love affair soon became part of bollywood saga. Raj was already married and father.Later both parted with nargis getting married to sunil dutt. After marriage , she became strength of pillar for sunil. Well respected for her social service , nargis later died from cancer. It is said that raj was first person to reach hospital when nargis died.He was seen consoling sunil dutt in the hospital.

2)Devanand-Suraiya :

The stylish devanand and highest paid actress of her time ,suraiya did fell in love. The relationship was serious and suraiya wanted to get married with dev. Grandmother of suraiya objected to the marriage . Dev moved on while suraiya remained unmarried for rest of her life.

3) Guru Dutt-Waheeda Rehman :

Guru dutt committed suicide when he was hardly 40. In those few years he had already made movies which made him immortal. One of best directors that bollywood has ever had , guru was in love with Waheeda Rehman. He too like raj was already married to geeta dutt and had turbulent married life. Waheeda Rehman went on to become one of finest actresses of all time.

4) Dharmendra-Hema Malini :

The he-man of bollywood was from punjab while dream girl of bollywood was from south. Both met during shootings and soon were in love. Like guru and raj , dharmendra too was married. But he still managed to get married with hema malini.Dharmendra has two sons from his first wife while two daughters from hema malini.

5) Amitabh-Rekha :

Big B denies having any affair with rekha but media still keeps coming up with stories about them. Amitabh is married with jaya bhaduri which too was love marriage. Recently they completed 25 years of togetherness. Amitabh-Rekha story does catch headlines , every now and then. Though Big B avoids getting in news for rekha , media makes sure that they find atleast one photo of parties or award functions with big b and rekha in it.

6) Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai :

This was one of hottest love stories of bollywood. Salman khan , one of most handsome hunks of bollywood and aishwarya rai , one of most beautiful ladies of the world. 7) Kareena Kapoor-shahid Kapoor :

They looked good together. While kareena was on her way to become super star , shahid was upcoming star.
