Credit Card Theft : When My Friend Turned James Bond

My partner (sid) was watching t.v. when he got call from his good friend (sagar). Sagar's voice had glimpse of anger , panic , urgency in his voice. He said-'Reach seema electronics immediately'. He didnt say anything more than that. Sid took his car and was on his way to seema electronics.

While on his way he received sms from sagar which was forward message from credit card company . SMS said that Rs 15,000 worth shopping was done from credit card.

Sid reached seema electronics and showed the sms to Client Servicing staff. They checked their order book . No shopping was done from that branch. Sid requested them to find out about from where the shopping was done. He got information that shopping was done from another branch.

Sid informed sagar to reach to that branch . Both went inside and showed the sms. Client Servicing staff of that branch confirmed about the order . Sagar informed them that it was case of theft and his girlfriend's credit card was stolen from which this shopping was done.

The Client servicing personnel who had catered these theives did remember them because of their unusual attitude. They had bought two mobile. Same brand , same model. They were four in number , two boys and two girls. He had overheard one of boys on phone asking the caller to bring his accent near main door. They were looking in bit hurry.

Client servicing people asked sagar to file police complain. Here there was bit of a problem. Sagar and his girlfriend had kept their relationship secret from their family and FIR would have invited tought questions which sagar wanted to avoid. Sagar's girlfriend (whose credit card was stolen) belonged to conservative family which was sagar's main concern against FIR.

Sagar requested client servicing people to show cctv footage. He saw group of four in the footage . They were same people who were sitting near sagar and his girl friend in restaurant. One of them wore glasses with red frame.

The group was regular in the mall and this shop. Guard suggested that they might be from near by college. Sagar asked client servicing people to give list of students who had their membership. They refused to do so. But they obliged sagar by themselves calling them. They contacted three students and described the red frame person and group which had accent car. One of students knew this red frame boy. Client servicing personnel informed him that wallet of red frame boy is with him and so wanted to contact him and needed phone number and address for it.Fortunately they got his address and phone number.

Sagar , sid took one of guards along and went straight to red frame boy's house. His parents were shocked to hear that their son had not only got someone else's credit card but also shopped from it!!!!!!!. Sagar took both mobiles which were still with him and the credit card of his girlfriend. Red frame's father requested sagar about not informing police . Sagar himself wont have complained to police because of his own secretive relationship.

Sagar got phone and credit card back but what was shocking was college going people who belonged to well to do family and involved in such thefts!!!!!!
