Here is list of top performers of bollywood in last decade . Numbers are not ranks and all twenty have been good in their own way.

1) Amitabh Bachchan :

The original angry man of bollywood has great last decade.He was in most difficult phase of his life when the decade began.

He was in major debt with his company was declared as failed company by Indian Industries Board , his attempt of being sponsor of Miss world 1996 backfired and he lost millions in it. Big B was struggling and struggling in big way . The man who had given at least once hit for 15 years was the man without films and mountainous debt to pay .

Big B took a decision which changed his life and paved way for others.His decision changed television forever. He became host of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' which became outright success . His stint in television paved way for other superstars and actors to enter television. The television got bigger with big b . He re entered bollywood with mohabattein and soon was seen as major supporting actor in many films. With lead role in Black , Paa and Last Lear , amitabh bachchan showed that when it comes to acting , he is still shahenshah of bollywood. His comeback is inspirational for all Indians and at 68 , big b still
is going strong making his presence felt in movies , television and ad world.

2) Boman Irani :

He has become inseparable part of most movies. From munna bhai to three idiots boman Irani is undoubtedly one of finds of last decade. The biggest strength of boman is that which ever character he performs , he becomes that character. One of most talented actors of India today , boman has great decade ahead.

3) Saif Ali Khan :

Before 2000 , saif ali khan was one of many actors of India who starred in multi starrer movies . With chocolati look , saif did roles with urban and comic touch. In last decade saif has done it all . From being lover boy to being tough guy in race to being cunning rural character of om kara,to being terrorist in kurbaan , this man has shown he can take on any challenging role and do justice to it. His next would be agent vinod with kareena kapoor.

4) Akshay Kumar :

From being action hero to king of comedy , from being one of actors to superstar of bollywood , this decade has been journey for akshay kumar. He is only hero after manoj kumar to give back to back four hits. His namastey london , bhul bhuliya , welcome and singh is king , made him king of bollywood. Though 2010 was not so good year for akshay and none of his movies could do business in likes of what is expected from akshay kumar movie. He made television debut with fear factor and was host and judge of master chef too. Let us hope that coming decade we are able to see another great journey from this actor.

5) Hrithik Roshan :

He too can be said as find of the decade. Hrithik Roshan has got it all. He is awesome dancer , he looks like greek god , he has well toned body , his eyes are ravishing and he is amazing actor. 2010 has not been kind to him . Both kites and guzarish failed in box office but guzarish did earn him critic acclaims from all directions. Let us see the man who became phenomena in 2000 , can have phenomenal 2011 too...

6) Shahrukh Khan :

You can't go to agra and forget taj mahal . In same ways you can't write about bollywood without mentioning the badshah of bollywood. 2010 was ok year for shahrukh khan. His 'My Name Is Khan' did descent business . He is one of biggest star ever today but his number uno place is no longer his monopoly. Shahrukh Khan with his roles in swadesh , chakde ,veer zara, kal ho na ho , main hoon na , kabhi kushi kabhi gam , continued to entertain audience. His upcoming is Raa One.

7)Ajay Devgan :

He is like V V S Laxman . He keeps working away from media and he keeps performing since two decades. When media tags who is badshah and who is king of bollywood , what media forgets is many times ajay devgan has given consistent hits since 20 years.

National award winner ajay did it all in last decade. From action movies to comedy to drama to romance. Ajay is one of most versatile actors which India has ever seen.

8) Aamir Khan :

This man has changed how records used to be written. He has set new bars for all to follow. The decade belonged to him.Lagaan ,dil chahta hai , rang de basanti , taare zameen par , gajini , 3 idiots , fanaa. All superhits and some went on to become all time blockbusters. The decade all saw aamir khan becoming producer as well as director. He has now entered league which none of his contemporaries have reached. He is right up in lines of raj kapoor, dilip kumar , dev anand , guru dutt and amitabh bachchan. Aamir Khan is big brand and what ever he does become hit. Truly the most successful superstar of decade.

9) Katrina Kaif :

She came , she saw and she conquered. From no body to super star , this lady has all odds against her. She was not from India , she didn't knew how to speak hindi , she knew no one in bollywood. But today she is one of most successful actresses of bollywood. Whatever she touches becomes gold .

10) Priyanka Chopra :

She too like katrina comes from non filmi background. She after becoming miss world , did what most miss worlds do. That is entering bollywood. She made her presence felt by taking negative role in atraaz . She won national award from her role in fashion. Priyanka chopra is definitely one of most talented actresses of bollywood and her biggest strength being able to take diverse roles and doing justice to it.

11) Kareena Kapoor :

She is natural actress belonging to First Family of bollywood. She has grown from strength to strength in last ten years and easily is one of top most actresses of current times. Her role of geet in jab we met would go down as one of most memorable roles of bollywood.

12) Vidya Balan :

She needs mention as one of most daring actresses of bollywood. The kind of roles which she has done has been challenging as actress and she has come out with flying colours every time. Bhul bhuliya , paa , ishigya have been milestone movies in her career. All three roles were unconventional and she did a fabulous job. Her next would be 'no one killed jessica' with powerful actress rani mukherjee.

13) Rani Mukherjee:

She may be down but is not out. Her next 'no one killed jessica' has created good amount of buzz. She has argubaly done 'role of decade' in black. One of outstanding actresses that hindi movie industry has ever seen , we hope rani does well in 2011.

14) Himesh Reshamiya :

He took world by strom with ashiq banaya aapne. Soon it was his topi every where. Every channel has his songs and himesh strom ruled the world. The strom seems to have diluted and himesh is not more a phenomena. He too seems to be down but he is soon going to come back with international album . He has roped in two biggest music stars of the world. Who?.well wait for album to be out.

15) Shreya Ghoshal :

Sweet voice , great training , shreya in last decade gave so many hits songs which made careers of many heroines. Undoubtedly one of most versatile singers of India , shreya's voice would keep entertaining us for years to come.

16) Raju Hirani :

He is ace director whose movie can make one laugh his soul out. His movies are different which challenges the norms and set system . His movies always have message in it and he uses humor to put his message across. With munna bhai , laage raho and 3 idiots , this man has won hearts of every Indian. He is arguably director of the decade for bollywood.

17) Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy:

The trio has given some great music since last decade. Shankar is one of most outstanding singers which India has ever seen and along with ehsaan , loy he continues to churn out most memorable musics for bollywood.

18)Konkana Sen :

She is not part of race in bollywood . She is different. She has done unconventional movies and delivered her best in what ever she does. From Mr and Mrs iyer to page 3 to omkara to athithi kab jaooge , konkana is versatile actress with powerful screen presence. She got married this year . Her next would be mirch which also have boman ,raima sen and shreyas talpade in it.

19) Farhan Akhtar :

He can sing , he can dance , he can act , he can write ,he can direct. Wow. Mega talented farhan akhtar directed one of very good movies , dil chahta hai. His next was lakshya which didnt do well in boxoffice but had good script. He turned actor with rock on. His next would be don 2 as director

20) Rohit Shetty :

He created Golmaal series which became brand. With golmaal 3 doing great business he would be coming up with golmaal 4 . This is first time in history of bollywood that we have had three movie as series and with fourth one rohit would be raising the bar. His all the best too did well. He has evolved himself from action movies to comedy movies and is doing pretty well.
